That too V likes deep fried snacks like Pakora, Bhaji, Vadai more than other snacks and now the kids also joined him, always wanted me to make some Deep Fried Snacks. Once in a while I do like to have some deep fried snacks but will limit with two or three. Today's recipe is my kids' favorite savory snack, Aloo Bhujia. I made this Aloo Bhujia for Diwali but I missed to post. This Aloo Bhujia is very simple and easy to make snack similar to Sev. Besan Ladoo Recipe | Besan Mawa Ladoo | Besan Ladoo With Milk Mawa

Besan Ladoo Recipe
Besan Ladoo is one of the Popular North Indian Sweet that can be made easily, instanly without much effort. The Traditional Besan Ladoo is loaded with ghee, so rich and delicious sweet. But this Besan Ladoo recipe uses less ghee and I got this recipe from my neighbor Aunt. She actually suggested to make Besan ladoo with Sashini/Sugar syrup. Auntie told that she prepares Besan Ladoo with sashini/sugar syrup. But i was not confident with the sugar syrup method so I used powdered sugar instead.

Punjabi Kadhi Pakora / Punjabi Kadhi With Pakora ~ Punjabi Recipes!!

Today's post is an Authentic Punjabi Kadhi recipe / Punjabi Kadhi Pakora recipe which i learnt from my Neighbor Aunt. After moving to Aurora, we are happy to have two Indian Neighbors. And the two families were so kind, caring and helping people. Really its blessed to have such people around us. I am lucky to have such people around me after 3 years. Yes.,for the past 3 years we don't have any Indian neighbors. One of the neighbor family is from Punjab and the other family is from Himachal Pradesh. So you can expect more recipes from punjab & Himachal Cuisine soon.
This Punjabi Kadhi is not cooked by me and it was prepared by my neighbor Aunt. One fine day talking to Aunt, i asked for the kadhi recipe and she said tomorrow i am planning to make kadhi for guest than will give it to you. I said No, that i want the recipe for my blog and I myself asked her that shall i come tomorrow to take the pictures of kadhi making. Without a second thought, she said ok and the next day she called me after preparing the stuffs ready for kadhi making. I went and took pictures at their house. She helped me a lot and i enjoyed cooking this recipe with her.

Though she has some frozen homemade lauke pakoras in hand, she prepared fresh onion pakoras for me and explained everything patiently. I simply clicked the step wise pictures and final pictures. She also packed me a cup of Kadhi Pakora and we enjoyed it to the core. It tasted so good and flavorful. My sweet friend Gaury, she gave me her bowl, spoon and flowers to use for my pictures. She also suggested some ideas for presentation. She is very good at presenting, organizing and decorating things. Thanks gaury and aunty for this recipe and for your time. On that day, aunty prepared Garam masala powder also and i too the picture of that too. She is kind enough to share the recipe for my blog. Its really nice to have mom with us. Now i don't need to yearn for my mom, since aunty is here for me to help, luv and care. They are not my neighbors, they are my family :) Now off to the Kadhi recipe...

KaraSev / KaraSev Recipe / Spicy Sev Recipe

Its been ages i had this spicy and yummy karasev. Though this is not my favorite snack i love to have this as a side with rice and rasam. But The karasev which is available here are not good, crispy and i do not like it. So i decided to try it by myself and that's the only way to taste a very good kara sev :)
Here's another Diwali snack from Spicy Treats, my version of karasev-crispy, spicy and mild soft karasev. This is one quick version and you can make instantly. Traditionally this Kara sev made using karasev ladle but i used murukku press for making this kara sev with the wide holes achu /plate. This time I tried it Vegan without using butter and it turned out perfectly.

Bhaji, deep fried snack using gram flour with any desired veg like potato, onion, capsicum, brinjal, Banana Pepper and even with paneer n bread slices. It's one of the easy Indian snack which u can make it in jiffy. My favorite is Milagai Bajji and this Potato Bajji. But due to health & calorie conscious not making this fritters often but once in a while would love to have one or two bajjis. That too this chill evenings made me to crave for such hot & spicy fritters. So after a very long time I made this yummy bajji last week and served along with ginger cardamom tea for our evening snack. It was Very refreshing n filling.
